WE SELL FARM FRESH EGGS
Happy hens lay healthy eggs!
→ Farm Fresh Eggs vs Store Bought Eggs
There truly is a big difference in the care a chicken and their egg receive when comparing those that come from a small farm or local residence to those that come from a commercial egg operation.
Free range chickens are:
• Not kept in cages
• Fed more natural, non-processed foods
• Healthier and more resistant to disease
Free range chicken eggs are:
• Fresher
• More nutrient dense
• Better tasting (because of all the points above)
WE SELL STARTED PULLETS
What’s The Best Way To Start Your Flock?
Jumpstarting your flock doesn’t necessarily mean starting with chicks. Hens that are between 8 weeks and 22 weeks old are called started pullets. If you’re eager for eggs from your backyard chickens, started pullets may be right for you. Most hens start laying eggs around 22 weeks to 26 weeks of age. This means there’s not much of a waiting period before you see the benefits of owning chickens. Since they no longer need a lot of your attention or equipment like heating lamps, started pullets can be easier to own than tiny chicks. Not to mention, you will be even less likely to end up with an unwanted rooster.
